When fitting this wooden gate we recommend 16" or 18" Tee hinges which are attached to the gate and post by screws.  Another option when hanging is to use cranked bands.  For latching the gate we recommend a 6" gate latch or a heavy duty suffolk latch.  A 6" Brenton bolt can also be used to latch the gate which gives the option of being able to padlock and secure the gate.  For hanging this garden gate we recommend a post of 6" x 6" or bigger.  Postcrete can also be ordered for securing the post in the ground.  Please see related products for a list of items required.
