IAN SMITH (DIRECTOR)
Ian has a keen involvement in all aspects of the company since leaving school 44 years ago and has diversified the vast range of products available over the years always ensuring JSF has the highest quality materials on the market. Although Ian is no longer a fencer himself, he oversees our local contract division and covers Dumfries and Galloway measuring and pricing fencing works.
LEE SMITH (DIRECTOR)
Since marrying Ian in 1989 Lee has covered all areas of the business starting out in a portacabin in the yard with just the two of them at desks. Since the expansion of the business over the years and additional office staff Lee has found her niche keeping a firm hand on both the credit control and purchase ledger accounts as well as assisting the sales teams during busier periods.
JAMES SMITH (DIRECTOR)
James is a professional showjumper and runs his stables on site at JSF. When his work is finished with the horses, he leaves the stables in the hands of his groom and takes position behind the wheel of one of our delivery fleet keeping our busy delivery schedule on route.
ANNA CAMPBELL (DIRECTOR)
Anna qualified as a Midwife after the birth of her first daughter and works this vocation part-time while also working part-time in our busy Fencing Sales Division. Anna deals with customer enquiries and sales efficiently processing quotes and orders for both stock and bespoke items.
KIM LOCKHART (CLADDING MANAGER)
Kim joined the company in 2002 and has been involved in most departments over the years starting off working in Fencing Sales and assisting Lee with the Purchase Ledger Accounts before taking on the role of Cladding Manager in 2014. Kim has also dealt with the company Advertising & Marketing since she began.
EMMA VICTORIA FORTNUM (SALES MANAGER - FENCING/AGRI RUBBER)
Emma manages the sales division of both our Fencing and Agri Rubber Divisions dealing directly with customers and also the purchasing of all relevant materials for stock as well as bespoke orders. Starting out in Field Sales in 2016 out and about meeting customers old and new before settling into the full-time office role she manages so well today.

STEVEN CAMPBELL (LOGISTICS & SALES CO-ORDINATOR)
Steven started out fencing alongside our contract teams before taking on a driving role delivering our materials throughout Scotland. Latterly, Steven has started splitting his week between this role and a new office-based role dealing with Fencing Sales and maintenance of our vehicle fleet.
JON NEWBURY (ACCOUNTS MANAGER)
Jon is originally from London and joined the company in 2017 following a move to Scotland to start a new life with his local wife. Jon manages the Accounts Department and is on hand to help with any Credit Control or Purchase Ledger queries. Jon has also taken on the role of shipping and handling on the website along with the general upkeep of the site.
MICHAEL HUGHES (WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR)
Michael started out within our Contract Division in 2014 as a Fencer whilst studying at home to achieve his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing and I.T. Now qualified Michael has swapped his outdoor role for an office based position as our Website Administrator working full-time to keep the website up-to-date and user friendly.
AMELIA CRAIG (SALES CO-ORDINATOR)
Amelia, our youngest recruit, joined our office team in early spring 2023. Amelia was born and bred on a local working farm, so has plenty invaluable knowledge of the agricultural sector. Amelia joins the Fencing Sales team and can assist with any enquiries or orders you may have.
NATHALIE DIGBY (CLADDING SALES CO-ORDINATOR)
Nathalie joined our office team during the spring of 2023. Nathalie began her working life in the Care Sector and has had a complete turnaround now, working within the JSF Cladding Division dealing with enquiries and orders.
NORMAN BURGESS YARDMAN HIGH BORELAND
Norman has been with JSF for 20 years and takes care of our High Boreland storage yard where the bulk of our Cladding, Construction Timber & Agri Rubber Matting stock is kept. Norman takes pride in keeping the yard neat and tidy and is responsible for making up and storing bulk customer orders. When Norman has any spare time he fulfils his maintenance role putting his efforts into keeping the JSF yards and surrounding areas in perfect order.
