Overview
Description
Our 4″ x 4″ square fence posts are rough sawn from UK home-grown larch for a maximum lifespan of up to 25 years and have been green pressure treated ready for ground contact. These posts are supplied both pointed and blunt for either concreting in or for using a postdriver. These stobs are popular in garden fencing as they provide a strong finish that will stand up to high winds, and are also popular in agricultural fencing as they add strength to a fence which makes them perfect for use with cattle. Generally we suggest 24″ – 30″ below ground level so posts need to be ordered with this in mind depending on required height of finished fence.
