Overview
Description
These posts are rough sawn from UK home-grown larch, for a maximum lifespan of up to 25 years, and have been green pressure treated ready for ground contact. Posts of this length are generally used for hanging heavy duty gates both in the agricultural and domestic markets. In the agricultural sector these posts are used within sheep or cattle handling systems and for post and rail fencing. In the domestic sector they are popular for hanging garden gates or for adding strength to a fence. These posts are available in both pointed and blunt. Generally we recommend putting the post 24″ – 30″ below ground level, so posts need to be ordered with this in mind.
